Hello Satgur, thank you for joining the GROW Hub. Watering advice will depend on what type of plants you are growing and whether they are in a sunny spot or not. You might like to explore the GROW Observatory app as it includes advice for a wide range of edible plants. You can read more about it in our free online course Citizen Science: Sensing the world that you can access here: https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/grow-earth-sensor/2/steps/510873. You might also like to consider purchasing a soil sensor. The GROW Observatory is using Flower Power sensors, which are no longer for sale unfortunately. Here are some similar sensors, although please note they have not been tested or integrated with GROW:

  1. Xiaomi Plants Monitor - Ollivan
  2. 2 in 1 Metal Probe Plant Soil pH Value Moisture Tester Sensor Garden Portable Testing Tool: https://www.banggood.com/2-in-1-Metal-Probe-Plant-Soil-pH-Value-Moisture-Tester-Sensor-Garden-Portable-Testing-Tool-p-1041751.html?rmmds=buy (it seems this one is currently sold out)
  3. VG-METER-200 - Vegetronix: http://www.vegetronix.com/Products/VG-METER-200/
  4. SEN-13637 - (only a sensor) SparkFun: https://shop.pimoroni.com/collections/new-products/products/sparkfun-soil-moisture-sensor-with-screw-terminals
  5. Smart Sensor - Gardena (formerly from Koubachi): http://www.gardena.com/de/produkte/smart/smartsystem/gardena-smart-sensor/967044801/
  6. PlantLink - OSO Technologies: http://myplantlink.com/

I hope this helps, let us know how you get on. Best wishes, Raquel
