My introduction...

Introduce Yourself(Last edited )

Hello all, I live in Glenrothes in Fife, Scotland. As well as a few raised beds in the garden at home, I also have an allotment. It is only 100m2, but as I'm sure most of you know - you can grow a lot in that space. Hope to benefit from the community knowledge and contribute to the science mission of Grow.

My allotment is in a beautiful situation - in the old walled-garden of a large country house - now a hotel. The old 'estate' is now a council owned park. with a golf course, craft centre and lots of walks in established woods. Some plotholders have space in the old greenhouse, and others, like me, have space in the large row of brick-built cold frames. I current have garlic and just yesterday planted some courgettes in it.

I am on the allotment association committee, and can pass on what I learn to others. We have our moments of grief, but on the whole we are a sociable bunch.

Hi everyone, I live on Kintyre and have some small walled gardens where I am just starting to experiment with growing vegetables.

I live in St Andrews and I mainly grow vegetables in wooden boxes ( I have four of them) ,but I have a lovely herb garden at the front. I have lots of onions at the moment. I am looking forward to learn from grow community.

Hi George, have you signed up to take a soil sensor or two? I am beginning to get them distributed and will soon have a date to for an event at Cambo for folk in Fife. Alternatively, I'll be at Tayport Community Garden at 1pm on Sunday 24th June if you would like to cmd along there. It would be great to meet you.

Hi Wendy, I've looked through the conversations and can't seem to find a place to sign up for the sensors. Sorry, I have a prior engagement on the 24th, but please let me know about the Cambo event.
